Plan for our ancillary text ideas

CD Case: Digi Pack
- This is an option for our album cover.
- Head shot, and draws attention
- Focuses on the singer (star persona)
- Use photoshop to create this look

- When we typed in google 'pop album covers' most of them were close up headshots of the artist.
- So we will follow this convention of close up head shots but play around with photoshop to enhance the images etc

- Most album covers had plain/neutral backgrounds
- But with striking font styles or striking colours
- We will incorporate some of this, possible make the image of the artist striking and then the font neutral (reverse)

- Beyonce's digi pack
- Information about the music, producers etc
- Space for CD's and a picture of the artist behind the CD's
- Instead of a traditional CD case, this one has an extra case for additional information
- For our digi pack, we will follow similar ideas/conventions
- E.g, picture of the artist (screen grab from music video) behind the CD, information about the production, artist, possibly lyrics, info about upcoming albums, bonus tracks (deluxe )

Magazine:

Screen grab showing us research 'Cheryl Cole magazine cover' we found several magazine gener types e.g gossip, glamour, fashion ect.
We found that with a 'gossip magazine' the artist wouldnt be the main focus - therefore hardly any editing of the image.
With the 'fashon magazine' we found that its more focused on her clothing, e.g street style ect.
Overall, we didn't think that these layouts were suitable for our star persona
