Test Footage and Lighting

In today's lesson we took out the camera and done some test footage. We first started with the lighting and tried out different positions and filters for the lights.

We used 3 moveable lights that pluged into the electric socket. We placed one behind the 'artist' and then the other two to the side, and tried to get rid of the shadow that was behind her. We found that this light was very good especially in the room that we were in and the dark intenserity of the room. We then added different coloured filters to the lights. We used red, blue and white filters and moved them around from one light to the next to look for the right style we wanted.   

After checking the lighting, we went out and done some test shots and tried things out that we thought might work. We went to the side of the train track and found a wonderful brick wall that we could use. We also can climb the side of the wall and get a birds-eye view of the artist up against the wall.
