I want my digipak to look something on the lines of these two examples.

My specific area of spotlight in mise-en-scene would to aim for props such as a microphone in a grassy field, or the artist leaning against a bike, specifically the one used in the music video. Lighting i would prefer to be as natural as possibly maybe some saturation like exampled in Taylor Swifts one, or a specif colour common throughout each side of the digipak exampled in Rhianna's one.

Because the artist is more pop ballad and girly singer the digipak would most likely be aimed at her personal life or how appealing she is the the youth audiences. Thus if it were to be a very natural setting like, a picture of a grassy areas then we could have the singer dresses up likes shes just walked out from some shop in New York or London. I would also like to experiment with combining nature related stuff, scenery and dress with town life, party platform shoes and pop star make up.

Paramore ( a band but with a female singer)

These two are examples of how i would like the magazine advert to make the artist stand out. Jessie.J's magazine advert shows a large Photoshop picture of her face and then her most famous songs, this is something on the lines of what i would like written on the magazine advert. However in the Paramore advert there's a air of oddness and mystery to the Picture used I could like to have the singer on the cover but maybe so that she's hidden giving the audience something to grab on to. But on the other hand because our star persona is girly having a dark mysterious advert can be grabbing the wrong audience.

Thus i conclude that something more on the lines of Lily Allen.



Something simple and just have the singer there with words around her, but maybe her in a more stand out outfit, and the same colour theme like the Lily Allen example.

Hopefully with a combination of the singer appearing half viewed in the picture surrounded by bold words and star ratings. The colour theme would have to be bright and warm, possibly a girly like colour, pink, yellow or red. There could even be a specific main colour, for example the hole thing is coulored by one colour is always stronger than the other, a lot stronger so that it stands out.
