The 2 social media websites help to connect a bigger audience to Cheryl's music, with no just people from the UK being able to get onto the websites and like/follow the pages.
How their star persona is communicated
I think that social media sites can be a bad way at times in communicating a celebrities persona. There are many people in the world and that means they all have different feelings and likings to music, and social media websites like Facebook and Twitter to them is a place that they can air out their hate and dislike towards the artist or celebrity.
However, I think that Cheryl's star persona is illustrated as a hard working artist with her music but also her carrer in TV and beauty.
How we may use social media websites to increase consumption of our video
I think that if we used social media to promote our music video it would create a large audience from all over the world. It would also be a good place to release mini clips and extracts of tasters of our music videos and new videos to be released. They would only be available to people who are following or liked the pages, so would also increase the amount of people on the websites.
